May 2013

I really loved May. I had a great time.

Victoria’s Graduation

The most special time of this month was watching my cousin Victoria graduate from nursing school. I LOVED spending time with her, Victor, Kim, Cann, Aunty Vickie, and Manny. We had a delicious BBQ (ribs and lobster) at their house, celebrating Mother’s Day. And, I really enjoyed “my fluffy snow” we had on another day (mango and mochi). Fluffy snow can be its own post!

Sharks

The other amazing time I had was at the Shark’s game. Bob got us tickets against the glass for the playoff games. Wow! I never knew watching hockey could be like this. We not only saw the hockey, we felt it.

Coqueta

The final occasion that made this month so sweet was dinner with my friend Cynthia. She took me to an amazing dinner at Coqueta. The meal blew me away. Props to Michael Chiarello and his team. But, of course, even better than the food was the company.

And, I met up with my yoga buddies for book club and brunch. Delicious coconut oatmeal. I tried recreating the oatmeal with coconut milk, but it didn’t work.
